The Swirly Lamp is a handcrafted 3D-printed desk lamp that reimagines everyday lighting as a piece of art. Its defining feature is a dual-colour light effect: warm yellow light radiates from the top of the shade, while the colour of the PLA shade itself filters through the sides, casting a beautiful ambient glow in the shade’s own hue. The result is a lamp that creates two distinct moods in one — warm overhead illumination and a rich, coloured side ambience.
The swirling, organic form of the lampshade is 3D printed in PLA, allowing light to pass through the walls of the shade and illuminate the swirl pattern from within.
